Just signed up here with a few friends from 'another' board that has left us somewhat lacking. A little about us, for those who don't know us. NW GA, near Rockmart. DW & I are getting close to celebrating our 33rd anniversary, we have camped for most of those!
we started in tents when the kids were small, moved up to a pup, then to a 5er, then to a pup, then a TT, then back to a pup. Then with the back surgeries years ago and the ones I need now, we've had to move over to a TT again just to get to go. I just can't do the pop up thing anymore, but hey, my awning is fabric!
we have camped a total of 37 nights so far this year, farthest trip was to Cosby Campground in the Great Smokey Mtn National Park. closest trips are to McKinney Campground on Lake Allatoona, just 30 minutes away. we mostly camp in COE or SP campgrounds, but have done a few boondocking/dry camping trips
gonna spend some time looking around and getting comfy here. I am disabled/retired so I spend a lot of time online.
Well finally! Welcome Papa from another Georgia Camper/rally member! Seems lije we have camped together and shared another web site some together! O0 Lets get other friends to join us! I think this is the most from one state to join this web site!

I still haven't mopped the camper out, LOL of course it rained all day. to all the others who've said hello, I think I recognize all these names from that "other" forum......
and yes John, I kind of like the shade, even a redneck chandalier puts out enough light to made some shade ;D ;D
@ The Mayor - your honor sir, we have camped a total of 37 nights/days this year. and it's not done yet. DW and I are trying to figure out where we're going to go for 4 or 5 nights over our anniversary, with that and our usual at least once a month trips to somewhere, we might just make 50 nights this year!
