Greetings everyone, just found this site from a link on another website. See a few handles in the forums I recognize. Some of you may recognize mine as well. As a big pop up enthusiast it's nice to find more who enjoy the same.
Anyway, I'm Tim, wife is Donna, and we have been camping since we dated almost 30 years ago! Donna says she was conceived in a tent so camping is in her blood. I camped with Scouts, then with an aunt.
We bought a 1994 Dutchmen 1002XS brand new when our two youngest were just 4 and 6 to show them the world of camping. The camper had it's issues when new with roof leaks, and took many trips to the dealer(s) and factory. With the leak still there and out of a job and an across state lines move it got stored for almost 7 years.
With the help of many nice websites like this one I finally figured a fix and attacked. In spring of 2007 we resurrected the pop up and began camping again.

Since then I have become involved with the pop up world. We joined a pop up camping club (GLPUC.org) last year and have enjoyed meeting new people. I have published a few articles with Pop Up Times, and am always hanging around some pop up forum. I've done a lot of repairs and mods to our Dutchmen over the years, and recently put up a website. If you care to look it over, it's http://campingpopupstyle.com/
Happy Camping!
