Hello folks.
As the subject says, I'm located in MD. My family has had our pup since we bought it new in 2006. Like most people, we don't camp as much as we would like. Up until this year, it was usually 4 or 5 weekend trips a year. We are hoping to increase that this year. We have a 2 week trip planned in June, and so far just 1 weekend trip in May. But we will get some others planned.
How 'do from the other side of the continent.
If you'd like your location known to other CanvasCampers, https://canvascampers.com/inde.....opic=478.0 drop me a note with your town/city name -- no addresses please, and I'll be happy to put you on the map.

What fun stories do you have about your first trip with your popup?
Well, it's been 6 years, and I don't have the best memory. I do know that on our first camping trip in the pup, I was splitting some wood with a hatchet. I ended up chopping my thumb instead. That's when we found out we did not have a first aid kit. The camp host gave us a kit to bandage it up. I should have probably gotten stitches, but I'd had a few and didn't want to deal with an alcohol related incident.
I learned that I needed a first aid kit and that I should not split wood after having a couple drinks.

Geez Greg, I never heard that bit of history before. 😮 Was it a group trip or just the family?
That was about 3 months before I met any of the MAC folks. We bought the camper at the February RV show. Picked it up in March and went camping. It was June before I met any of the MAC folks. that was at the G@TG in 2006.
I'm not really sure why it hasn't come up around a campfire.
