Not new to camping but just discovered this forum - it looks wonderful!
Started out camping as a kid - canvas tent and pop-up. Loved girl scout camping trips!
Camped when first married then didn't really have time for camping it what seemed like forever.
Rediscovered it in 2000 - tents, pop-ups, fiberglass Casita and now our Lil Snoozy (husband can stand up in it - yay)
Never thought I'd camp in a "sardine can" as I called them but like the comfort and ease.
We still love the simplicity of camping and connecting with nature.

Welcome, y'all. Happy you found us and joined the group! I've seen one of the Lil Snoozy campers up in Alabama a few months back. Was very intrigued!

We were intrigued by the Trail Manors and Hi/Lo's too. I like the size of them for trailering.
The Lil Snoozy is just right for us - size wise and most importantly - can hold up to the salt air where we live

I googled the little snoozy....nice. Small but it has all of the major amenities.

Not familiar with the Kenny Chesney song.....but Blackbeard was known to hang around my area....he was one mean dude.

Had I not moved we'd have been neighbors-ish. I used to live in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach, VA and Rocky Mount and Enfield, NC. OBX used to be my playground.

Good to have you hear. I have to admit, I kind of like those Casitas.

Thanks - you're a long way form "home"!
The OBX has changed over the years - don't know how long you've been gone but the chain stores/restaurants are beginning to move in

I left a couple years ago. I kick myself for not buying along OBX in the 80s when practically nobody ever went there. Sigh. That would have made for some great retirement property.

You're not kidding about that! My husband and his brother would surf here in the late 60's/70's. If they had only had a little cash to invest - they'd be sitting pretty today!
