I have a 1999 Dodge Dakota 5.2 V8 that I bought on Craiglists list for $4000. It only gets 11-12 mpg when towing, but its only used for towing and since its paid for, insurance on it is very low. Would I like something with better mileage, sure, but if I only use the truck 10-12 times a year, how could I every make up the difference in gas for something newer.
Its a workhorse when camping.
