If you don't mind my asking, what was the cost of the display, sensors, etc.?

I don't mind at all. Here is a link to a spreadsheet with most of the parts listed. Prices and sources. https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=ae67fff392766057#cid=AE67FFF392766057&id=AE67FFF392766057%215093 Of course what's not there is the Computer for writing the software, a development board for testing, also a really nice "O" Scope DW and I are still discussing if it was really needed :-X

The link to the blog has the software in a Hex file that MicroChip would burn into the PIC, all you have to do is download it when you buy the processor.
