Does any one have one of these. I'm trying to figure out how this thing works. Its one level but says it levels both front to back and left to right.
Any Ideas?

Not familiar with that one, and with both levels mounted parallel I'm not sure offhand how it works.
We use the Hopkins Hitch Level http://www.hopkinstowingsoluti.....level.html and really like it. In fact, we liked it enough to remove it from our old PUP before trading it in! The two level vials are perpendicular on that model, which makes it easy to use.
I'm sure the one you're referring to is a good model since it come from Hopkins. Did you check Hopkins site to see if there are instructions posted or are you just looking at that one and haven't purchased it yet?

That's what I was thinking. With them being both parallel, how would that thing work.
I was looking at the other one which you have and I like it as well.
We are looking for a new level. Right now we are having to open the pup a tad to open the door and put the level on the floor. As Im hoping its level. I have tried to level from the tongue and the up dont seem to be level. So not sure what the best way to level it is. Or how to tell when its really level.
Maybe I could measure the distance from the frame to the ground (concrete) for both front to back and left to right to get it level then use the level on the floor and tongue to see if they match. Does that sound about right. Or is there a better way.

After looking at yours and how you turn it to get the amount of inches to raise. I think the one I was looking at is the same way. I think the round white part you turn so it shows the inches on the bottom.
After I get the pup level. I will have to decide which is better depending on if the floor is level or the tongue is level.

I have to say those both look like interesting levels. I looked on Youtube and found nothing on them. I would think the manufacturer would put a video up on how to use them. If you find a video, please post it. I would like to know how they work.

Sharon,
The best way I've found is to use a carpenter's level in the floor inside the door. Once you level the camper that way you can either mount bubble levels on the side and front or mount something like the Hitch Level. The Hitch Level can be calibrated after it's mounted to the tongue. Calibration is simple: a thin screwdriver and one screw inside the case. After that, you check the side to side level before unhitching (the case rotates to show which side and how much it's off level), raise the low side with your preferred method, unhitch and level front to back with the tongue jack.
The tongue isn't always level, and you're going to be living inside so it's best to level off the floor.

Thanks Phil and Pete. I uploaded both pdf. But not sure where they go from there.
Thanks for the info John. I don't think our tongue is level so that is why we have been using the floor. But I'm not convinced its that level as well. So maybe this weekend we will pull it out and see about leveling it and adding some bubble levels to the side.
Trying to get ready for our first camping trip in 2 years. Its not till June. But that don't mean I cant play in the pup. LOL!
