I have seen this done 3 times within the past week and it is sooooo annoying.  What do you do when driving?  Here is the situation

You are making a left hand turn.  Do you get over as far to the left in your lane of travel to make the turn or do you stay center in your lane of travel or move as far to the right?

1- I was on a one way street that is wide coming to a T with a stop sign.  The one way street could turn left or right.  There are no marking on the pavement, just blacktop.  I am behind a car driving down the center of the street and as we come to the end it gets all the way over to the right....no turn signal at this point.  I am making a left so I position myself to the left side of the road.  He comes to a stop on the right side of the road and puts his left turn signal on just as I am about to pull along side of him...with my left turn signal on already.......ARRRGHHHH

2- Driving down a busy 2 lane road.  There is a left turn into a popular development.  EVERYONE pulls as far to the yellow line as possible before stopping to make the left turn because the road has traffic and they will be stopping.  There is a decent shoulder so by pulling to the left of the lane you can get by.  If there is a big truck that stops and waits it backs traffic up.  This itty bitty car pulls to the shoulder line and stops with his left turn signal on.  I almost could pass this guy on his left side there is that much room he left there.......ARRRRGHHH

3- Pulling into the beer distributor on a 2 lane road there is not a chicken lane but a center area with yellow diagonal lines that is 1/2 a car width wide.  There is a shoulder on the road.  This driver stops to turn left into the beer distributor without pulling into the yellow line section and as a result nobody can get around him.......ARRRGHHHHH

WHEN MAKING A LEFT TURN MOVE OVER SO PEOPLE CAN GET AROUND YOU!!!!!!!!

I have noticed this for a while now, I don't know why they do it, but I have have been behind many cars that go to the right and block you getting by so they can take a left. I also notice they do the wrong thing when they do this, they turn their wheels to the left when stopped which is what they teach in drivers ed is wrong because if a car hits you in the back, you go into oncoming traffic. So, I have to come to the conclusion that they just don't know how to drive or they think they are driving a tracto trailer even though they are in a Camry.
I myself get to the left as far as possible to let traffic by.

Best Regards,
Norm

Please keep the road rage away from me!  So, if there are no markings on the road...it is a 1 lane road.  That means it is actually ILLEGAL to pass on either side.

I say slow down and don't be in a rush and all will be fine.

It is courtesy.  It usually takes more time to make a left hand turn because you have to deal with 2 lanes of traffic.  If you are in the right hand side of the road blocking me from making a right hand turn or passing you on the right to go straight while you make a left hand turn you are being inconsiderate.  I'm not screaming at you and going to jump out of my car and pound on your window but I am thinking to myself....What an A$$hole.

My Husband makes left hand turns from the right side of the road.  It drives me nuts.
