So what should I be doing to keep the sensors clean in my black tank? I've only been out 3 times and I know it's empty, but my sensor is reading 2/3 full.

it's almost impossible no matter what kind of RV you have.
many take out the cheap sensors and install ones like the Horst Probes. these are designed to stay cleaner and give much more accurate readings.

many add fancy tank sprayers like the Tornado, but still get inaccurate readings.

Thanks, BD.

I'm thinking of moding with a Tornado tank rinser. My logic is if it works great, and if it doesn't always do the trick and I then go to the Horst probes, the'll still need a rinse as well.

any additional input is welcome

Our tt has a built in rinsser. We use it every time we dump. We had a probllem once. I put about 10 gallons in black tank drove to campground and dumped when I got there. Haven't had any problems since. Knock on wood.
