There are many dealers who sell higher end camper packages and automatically include an add-a-room that the buyers sometimes never use. I bought mine from one of those buyer for $100. After you go thru setting it up a few times, it only takes about 15 minutes to set up. We don't normally use it for weekend trips, just longer ones.

Here is a picture from our 12 day trip to Lancaster PA this past June. We added our 10x10 next to it for our camp kitchen and cooking. If you look really hard, it is a camper in the background. ;D ;D
I picked up my AAR in a similar manner, paying $125 including shipping. I like it 'cause I don't keep my :dog: on a leash when we are in there. DW really likes it 'cause it gives the illusion that we have so much more room....almost like we added a room to the popup :lmao:
I have only used it twice on weekend trips. It was a bit of a PIA but like Joe said, once you put it up a few times you can do it in no time at all. And I can put it up by myself.

I bought mine on craigslist from someone that also never used theirs.
After setting up a few times, we decided we didin't want a full room as we wanted the awning area open, but protected from side rain/wind. For most trips we just setup one side to protext the cooking table.

We transport ours more than we use it. But when the bugs are bad, up it goes. So much better than getting eaten alive! Gives a room to get out of the buggy-ness before opening the inside door to the pup. It just takes learning how to put it up. Once you've done it a few times, it's not very hard. 10-20 minutes. Easier with another person that takes direction well.
