I contacted a seller giving him the measurements of my C rail (12'1"). He provided the following info in two messages:

Dear bannerbeeze,You say it cannot be used on a C channel greater than 11'. Why not? My Apache pop up's channel is 12'1". What would happen?I'm quite interested in the product.

Dear cjspirate,With the measurements provided in the listing there is a good chance the rear corners on the side walls will not touch the ground.- bannerbeeze

They were made for the arched rail.. that would bring the ends down on the longer rail and the rear corner ends touch the ground with no problem.. A straight rail has to be a little shorter for it to work..- bannerbeeze
Here is my thought on installing the cabana on my pop up. My C - channel measures 11' 9" or so if I remember right. So as to not wreck or destroy the C - channel in case some day I may want a traditional awning is to notch the C - rail with a dremal tool at the correct distance - width leaving the full length of the C -channel intact.
The cabana I bought is a 11 footer and I knew that when I bought it, but at the price I knew I could make it work some how and try to keep the complete C - channel intack and still useable at the same width as when I bought it.
OK , this isn't tried or tested yet but sure looks good on paper !!
I got an additional c channel rail to put under the original awning rail to make my 10" Cabana fit but decided that I did not want it that close to the door, so I have to add material to the bottom of the awning closest to the door, to hit the ground. They also provide screening for the Pup side to make it totally bug proof. I love that I can put it up & down without help 8)
When I used my Cabana last summer - with the screen and privacy panels - it did not (but was close to) reach the ground by the camper. IE was a little short. Might get a another C-rail and attach lower on the roof - but that means more issues (extra holes in roof to seal, possible to tear canvas on top side near the roof, Door rubbing on awning etc....)
Still worked great to keep rain off of the table and chairs etc... and was great when it went into the hot part of the day. Just like a Awning - when you get extremely high winds (or extreme gusting) -its best to take down until it passes.
Bought a 10 foot - was really a 10.5 foot (on the rail) and fit on my 11 foot unit just fine.
Yes these are the real deal.
Bear, I was just thinking of a small block of wood whittled down to the appropriate size and shape of the inside of the C rail. Then with a thumb screw attached it would allow you to slide the piece down the rail then twist down the thumbscrew until it bit into the channel as a stopper. I'm not sure I could pull this off, but it does sound like someone with a little ingenuity might be able to handle.
If not wood, perhaps even a pencil eraser could do the trick.
