Joe and I are starting to think that the roof of our camper isn't going up evenly - is this possible? We actually have to physically push the roof up in order to get the door in place. We started wondering if it is possible for the roof on the curb side of the camper to not raise the same as the road side.

Anyone else experience this?

Measure all 4 corners when its up, chances are 1 or more corners is an inch or two off. The cables stretch and you can make a minor adjustment at the pulleys at each corner.

Joe/Dawn,

My older colemans never had that problem, but my 2007 Avalon had to be adjusted once or twice a year. I thought it was due to the huge 16ft roof. Guess they are not making the cables the way they used too.

Thanks guys, we measured the corners this past weekend...the road side corners were a good 1/2-3/4 inch higher then the curb side.

Adjusting the cables - - - is this something that is easy to do? or do we need to bring it to a dealer and have them do it? Anyone here do this adjustment before?
