Thought I'd throw this out there in case anyone will be there next weekend.
We are taking our first trip of the year to Lums Pond State Park in Delaware next weekend. We have never camped at this park, so don't know what all is there. We did scout the campground to check on sites. They are mostly large sites.
I figure we will do a lot of relaxing and probably a little geocaching.
We've camped at Lums quite a few times...nice big sites, but only 4-6 of them with Electric. All the rest are no hookups. Last time we were there (October 2010) there was a bit of a stinkbug infestation - the little buggers were EVERYWHERE !
If you like university towns, Newark and the U of D is just up the street. Kind of nice to walk around town and enjoy the "college vibe".

Lum's Pond is on our list of places we'd like to camp. Stinkbug infestations, though, are no fun! Last fall we went to Susquehannock State Park in southern Lancaster County for a program and the stinkbugs were swarming like gnats at one of the overlooks. That was the worst we've seen.
We were talking about destinations for this weekend and decided on our tried and true Gifford Pinchot SP. We camp there quite a few times each season, and there's a garden show this weekend at the York Expo Center that we wanted to check out.

I don't worry all that much about the stink bugs. They are a pain in the butt, but they don't really do anything.
We generally don't worry about them either, except for the trip I mentioned there were THOUSANDS of them. In the camper, in our clothes, in the beds, under the mattresses, in the pillow cases. We went to a local Home Depot, bought a small shop vac and vacuumed them up, closed the camper and drove home 3 hours. When we poppe it back up at home there were more - set off an insect "bomb", killed more, vacuumed them up. Saw more walking around, another round of insect "bomb". Went camping later that month - you guessed it, found more...
I just don't want to have to work that hard camping - otherwise, what would be the point?
