We are looking at doing a five day trip in late April and I thought that might be a good time to hit Big Meadows again.  We had a great time for a late fall trip we did in 2012.  From what I can tell it's first come first serve until May.  Anyone know if the facilities themselves are open?  Bathrooms, lodge, showers ect?

EDIT - just found a page with more complete info.  Looks like showers and laundry open 4/25, which is a week too late for us.

Is it really that cold up there still or is this just a budget issue?
