I don't think we can camp this weekend, but we might be able to make a day trip to Fort Yargo. We joined the Friends of GA State Parks in preparation for our trip to Vogel the 18th-21st. So we now have driving passes to be able to visit all the State Parks without paying the entrance fees. So, it might be fun to spend some time at the lake, checking out the beach at Fort Yargo, do a little exploring.
So, who is going to be there on Saturday? GA Judy, you seem to be in. AThread678 and Fire Captain Jim, how about you guys? Anybody else?
I think it's just us staying over the weekend, Jason. Jim had to cancel and Amanda had told him they live close by and may just come for a visit. Look for us and we'll be somewhere in there, hopefully on a lake site! Glad you might be able to come by and also happy you go a Friends pass. We've had ours for about 4 yrs. and really like the bonus of free camping, which offsets the annual fee. :camperkid:
