Just started planning my season ending outing  :(. We've camped at least once a month since April and have had great times. Including the one when the TV broke down on the way home, since it was on the way home it didn't ruin the camping.
So it's come to this, a friend of mine called the other night and said " hey do you want to camp this weekend, uhmm " heck yes ", I said. So I talked with DW and DD and both have other commitments, again sad face.
Then the light turned on. I called my Adult son who lives approx. 1 1/2 hrs away from us and I asked if he wanted to go. He and his new GF are game, so we're meeting half way, at a state park.
I'm so looking forward to this. Catch up on old times, Meet the new GF, good times around the fire with friends and family, and no worries about work, and I'll get to winterize before heading home  🙂 . Good times ahead.
