Camping season is just beginning, Vacation is just months away. What is your favorite camping spot or vacation spot and why?
I have several campgrounds all around me that I enjoy to stay at. I guess I really enjoy camping at Riverbend campground near Hiawassee because it is off the main road next to the beautiful Hiawassee River. It is quite and peaceful! It has full hook ups with cable tv if you want to use it. The wife and kids enjoy the saline swimming pool and the friendly atmosphere. They sell Mayfield Ice Cream at the camp store which is nice treat on a hot summer night.
I had reservations at Myrtle Beach Travel park for the first week in June to camp on the beach. But my Darling Wife started a new job and the boss lady said she was off for the first 2 weeks in June. So I used the deposit money to hopefully go the 3rd week June next year.
I enjoying camping at different campgrounds and trying new ones as well. We have a state park campground opening up in the next month or so near the house. It will be called Don Carter State Park. It is being built on the north end of Lake Lanier. Nothing like going camping meeting new friends, try some good recipe's, meeting new web camping members!
