We hitched up for the first time with our TrailManor to the new GMC Yukon Denali and the Denali lights are not communicating with the camper. Of course, it's Sunday and no one is open who knows the answer, but a neighbor said they had the same problem with their Ford 150 truck and had to get a gadget installed in the electrical box inside the truck.
Anyone have any experience with this type of problem? We did make sure it wasn't the camper by plugging in the 7-way pigtail to our old van. Voila! Lights. The pigtail was not loose, etc., on the Denali 7-way input. Thanks for any help.
We're headed out Wednesday early for Florida and will need those brake and directional lights on the TrailManor. 😀
Check in the glove compartment. There usually is a packet with a fuse and a relay you need to put in the Fuse Block in the engine compartment. It activates the charge lines in the 7 pin adapter. For whatever reason, the don't leave them connected when they leave the factory.
