Some of the various atlas' have the costs in them. Or, barring that, you can plot out your trip and then check the Dept of Transportation or applicable place's websites.
I did a cross country trip a few years ago with me driving a U-Haul and my nephew driving my pick-up towing my Apache. I stayed "toll-free" until I hit Oklahoma and went to stop and visit some cousins. It was a conscience decision to actually go that route. With few exceptions, I'd rather go toll-free and see more scenery.

Avoid driving on the East-West Expressway in Orlando. You will get quartered to death!
You cannot navigate easily around orlando without using toll roads! East-west (408 ), Beeline/Beach line (528 ), Greenway expressway (417) and I think 429? which is the western extension, Florida's Turnpike and Osceola Parkway just about cover every direction of travel with tolls. Some exits are only for epass/sun pass users and too many exact change unmanned exits too.

Those of us from Florida know how to get around paying the tolls. But, it depends on how much time and traffic you want to deal with. Since I live here, I have a SunPass that makes it a breeze, you don't have to stop to pay your toll. Depending on where I am going, sometimes it pays to just pay the tolls and get there faster with less traffic.
