We usually travel about 2 or 2 1/2 hours from our home to camp but are considering planning 2 or 3 longer trips each year.  How far do you normally travel?

Depends on how long we are going for ...  if its just a weekend, we try to stay within the 1.5 hrs away ..  anything farther is a pain with the amount of traffic our highways have (rush hour starts at 2 pm on a Friday) ..
If we are going for a long weekend (3nights) we'll go up to about 2.5 hrs. away ...  and if we are going for a week or longer to the same spot, we'll go up to 5-6 hrs away ...  Now once we morph over to either the gray side or the dark side, we'll go alot farther for any stay longer then 4 nights ... may go as high as 8-10 hrs. away ...

We have several excellent state parks within 2 hours that we use foe 2 to 4 night trips. I like to take one long trip a year, this trip is 8 to 12 hours away.  Up to 8 hours I'll drive straight through, over 8 requires a stop for a night or two.

for basic trips, we usually travel 2-3 hours from home.
but we take longer trips where we're gone for at least a week. we'll drive up to 8-10 hours to get to our destination.

We travel 3-4 hours regularly. If the place is nice, then the driving time is irrelevant to us.

We usually try to keep weekend trips down to under 3 hours driving each way.

For longer trips (4+ nights) we've traveled 7 hours each way.

Under 3 hours for us.  We have not done anything longer than a 2 night weekend.  The longer the stay, the longer I will drive.

We normally travel about 3 hours but wouldn't hesitate to go longer.  3 hours covers most of PA, MD, DE, NJ and some of NY and VA.

In the AZ winter we stay close to home.. an hour drive max but in summer we will drive anywhere from 1.5 hrs to 3 hrs just to get out of the heat.

We don't have a set time or miles. If we think it is a nice place we go. The drive does not bother me. In two weeks we are going to Orlando by car (non camping week.) I am thinking for next years big trip we may go Niagara Falls thats a nice 7 hour ride.

It all depends on how long of a stay we are planning. For a weekend trip we will try to keep it under 3 hours (preferably 2 hours). If we are staying for a week we have driven 13 hours.

Usually an hour or two for a weekend.  Longer is the trip is longer.
