I was checking out youtube and found some of these interesting videos. First, I'd like to know what Pismo Beach in California is all about. It seems like lots of people camp here. 2nd if there are this many videos about stuck RV's and trucks......why do they allow RV's on this beach?

yes, they do allow RVs on the beach.
Pismo has big sand dunes south of the town, at the state OHV rec area. attracts all kinds of sand toys and is the only place on the state's coast that allows this.
unless you're a motorhead, not a good place to camp due to the amount of noise and partying.
that was hilarious. anyone dumb enough to drive out into soft sand like that deserves what they get....STUCK!
they might have had much better luck in that last one if they'd switched to the light blue truck with the bigger tires on the camper.
When I worked in FL at the paper distribution warehouse, we'd see truck driver after truck driver get stuck pulling off the side of the street, even though we had signs out that said "TRUCKERS, IF YOU PULL OVER HERE YOU WILL GET STUCK" they just couldn't get that the sand really is that soft
That tickled my funny bone! Reminded me of when I was 8 yrs. old and my uncle pulled his car to the gravely edge of a bayou to wash his car while we were all swimming. Shortly afterward, the adults started yelling and running. His tires were halfway sunk in the sand under the gravel! Took years for him to stop hearing that story -- when he died -- since I am in my retirement years and still remember that day! Whoop-whoop! :lmao:
