Joe, just a suggestion..It would be great if a poster could edit/modify their post once it has been posted...thnks, vern

Very good suggestion.  I'd have to verify the setting, but I think the system is set to allow in the first 15 minutes, you can make a courtesy edit and it will not show anyone you changed it.  From 15 minutes to 1 hour, you can still edit it, but it will say "edited by ...." After 1 hour, only a moderator can edit it.

1) This allows you to reread your post for corrections. 
2) It stops an experienced camper from changing their posts from when they were a newbie and all the after posts would make no sense.    (It happened ??? )
3) There has also been a person who deleted his original question and the system automatically deletes the answers and replies by others.  The site looses all the information for others to read and learn.
4) Our settings are pretty much forum industry standard.

I hope this explains our thought when setting things up?
