Hi Joe,
Yes, I heard about this forum from another website, and became a fan...We went through two pop ups, and learned/still learning a lot on this site...And to come clean, we sold the last Bayside,  and now in a 25 foot Puma Travel Trailer...That said, this is still my favorite site to hang out on...The people here are always friendly, helpful, and informative...This was  and always will be my "camping" home..This site feels like "family" to me...Thank you for all you have done and contributed to the camping community...With that said, can me and my TT still hang here...?
Never met you, though we have talked for better or me at my worst...
Love you buddy,
Vernon Peveto...aka Wolfie

My brother found you when looking for the manual for my new camper, and passed on the info.  The local camping rally was what enticed me, but now that I've been on here for a few weeks, I find location doesn't matter.  Wherever someone lives this is a fantastic page/forum!

DH and I grew up camping, but didn't have any experience with a camper. So we went online to look for help, recommendations, maintenance - basically any info we could find. And stumbled across a bunch of forums/groups, but have only stayed with a few.

I heard about it from another site.  I checked this one out and I am enjoying Canvascampers much more.

Someone, I won't mention his or her name, but I believe his or her initials were/are J.O.E. sent me a note over there asking if I wanted to be the Grand Poobah of the cooking forums.

. o O ( I've always wondered why Pete turned it down. )

Since then I spend some time over there a lot of time here and a good amount of time on the Apache pop up forum.

As said by Scotty on the (new) Star Trek movie: I like this ship.  It's exciting!

Steve, I admit, I did contact you... over at PUX.  Cooking is a good part of the camping experience and we are glad to have you.

Phil is more into the website and taking care of the camper so Peter isn't as active... daily.

"The Mayor" told us he was thinking about it, and gave us the web address. We've been at this site since the beginning. I don't know when the last time I posted anything on "the other site" was...guess I like it more over here.

Keep up the good work Joe.

Our friends, and fellow member of this forum, Joe and Dawn (aka mtn_bikers) told me about it. Also I've camped with Joe and Joy prior.

Searched for information on setting up my add-a-room and Google brought me here.

it has been awhile since posting, but IIRC, I was sent a PM on both PuP and PuX to check it out over here....

I still browse all the sites, but rarely post on any of them.

each one has something to offer, and I carry no allegiance to any particular site or person.

IMHO, Knowledge is knowledge

I was sitting feeling rather low as, since becoming disabled, I haven't been able to go camping any more. I thought, I'll reminisce a little by looking up tent camping ~ that led me to Canvas Campers. It appears to be a great site for info and sharing. I expect to spend some time here & return when I need an injection of the good old days  ~ when I camped with family & friends.
I also believe I can make some great contributions as I tent camped, then pop-up camped since I was a babe. I'm almost 68 now, so I have stories, ideas & years of knowledge to share...
I think the 1st thing I'll do is offer an all time favorite one pot, stir-fry dish that never failed to satisfy everyone. And it's e-a-s-y!
