I'm not going deep into specifics, but I was really unhappy with the way admin. was handling things from another site. A great friend told me at a recent rally about this site and I had to check it out! I know some of the admin. on this site is the same but have a different mayor of being in charge! I see a big difference for the positive on this site. The mayor- Joe Camper has personally responded quickly to answer my questions within a few hours or less. Not days or repeated PM's request to a answered solution! Thanks Joe Camper! I know this site is not busy yet, but it is growing with lots of good encouraging people who love to camp! :baseballhat:
I heard about CanvasCampers from someone who is a moderator "elsewhere" (and a CC member too) during a very frustrating time helping to get a rally together. I told some of our rally camping friends that weekend about CanvasCampers and they signed up on their smart phones before the day was over!
All y'all (that Southern for "everyone") might have noticed an influx of GA and AL folks last month. We're here now and getting ready to launch another Rally for the spring this time because we had such a great time getting to know everyone (all y'all). :jig:
