Looks like a giant sterno can. I wonder if they put charcoal flavoring in with the flammable ingredient.

Best Regards,

Interesting.  I tried to find a price and it is either $1.74 or $4.50 each.  $4.50 is steep but $1.74 isn't bad.  Clean up does look to be much easier than dealing with charcoal ash while tailgating.  I guess lighter companies have to find new products as the more of the population quit smoking.

I guess there would be some uses for it.  Tailgating in a parking lot comes to mind.  But I can't see myself using that on a regular basis.

Looks interesting.  The reviews on Amazon aren't great, but I'd probably still buy one if I found it cheap enough.

Does anyone else have an overwhelming urge to dissect one to see what the inside looks like?  :crazydance:

"FlameDisk uses ethanol as the main fuel ingredient."  ???
Do you really want to "grill" over ethanol, the same ingredient in reformulated gasoline !  😮

reading thru the FAQ's on their site, it states that it is NOT petro based/refined Ethanol, but strictly Corn based.  so it will be safe to use.

The stuff you buy at the Gas station is also made from corn!

Now a days there is almost nothing that's not made using corn. It's in everything because it's subsidized by the government.
