I never heard of bologna in trail mix.....but then again I always interpret trail mix as a casserole, it is whatever is laying around mixed up.

I don't really snack.  I may bring some pepperoni or chips or pretzels but I am more of a big meal person.  However I will always bring hot dogs with me and cook a few over the fire.

DS is allergic to peanuts so there will be no nuts in my snacks anytime soon......oh how I miss reeses peanut butter cups  😛

Vern,
When I used to make trips often to Spain I'd come back loaded with canned octopus, squid, cuddlefish and sardines.  YUM!

I'm a nut junkie.  We've always got a pound or two in a container on the kitchen island.  Locally it's peanuts.  However, having lived in the Pacific Northwest, I love hazelnuts (filberts, to the locals).

YUM!
