I can always enjoy a good Canadian beer (Molsen), the real ones... not the watered down versions sold in the states.

Now we see why you want to have a gathering in Niagara Falls next year .... to stock up on that imported Molson beer ... 😉

Don't worry I do the same...  pop over to Niagara Falls (N.Y) and buy some exported (from Canada) beer and re-import (back to Canada) for less then 1/2 of what the same things costs here .... 😮

Craig, once it gets to our side of the border we have to water it down for the general public's lack of taste.  Please take it ALL back with you.  In return, drop me off 1 750mL bottle of Fin du Monde for each 6-pack you take.

The Irish Car Bomb

Like a boiler maker

1/2 pint glass guiness (or fav stout)
shot glass Irish whiskey layered with Bailey's Irish Cream

This is from my younger days, but they are tasty

Not the stuff I buy ...  It comes in the "Imported from Canada" cases ...  still at the 6.1% (for Labbatt's) and 7.1% (for Molson's) ...

Almost any Micro-brew.  I always bring a few from home, but love to pick up some local stuff to try wherever I am.

Now that I've moved to the West (and I can't get Yuengling), I've hit upon Henry Weinhard's IPA from Hood River, OR.

MGD tops the list here, also Coors,Miller Lite,Killians Irish Red, Labatts Blue, and Corona not neccesarily in that order, and the list goes on and on.

I was in San Francisco over the weekend and got to try some Anchor Steam Beer. It was very good.

I agree that the 90 Minute IPA is delish, but to anyone who hasn't tried it, you need to be careful as it has a higher alcohol content than many beers - this can be exacerbated by spring/summer sun and/or heat  😮

Has anyone ever tried making their own beer?

Yes, most of the beer I drink is what I've brewed myself.

I don't usually take my home brew camping, though.  I keep my bottles to reuse, and I don't like having to bring back empties from a camping trip.

If I buy beer, I usually get some micro brew.  If I'm getting a big name, I usually get Yeungling Light Lager

Haven't drank much beer for a while, and am usually a coors light bottle.  In fact I'm a little concerned about trying to setup a camper without a bottle in my hand.  Come to think about it, I've been buying Red Stripe for a while now.  Love red stripe, but feel so guilty when I buy a case.  That stuff isn't cheap!

Haven't had it in a while, but I used to really like Samuel Light.  It's a good girly way of ordering a manly beer, "I'll have a Sammy light please".
