Busdriver- I thought I responded with this yesterday, but I guess I did hit post.

Of course I will try Croppers, but I don't expect to find it there.  I will hit the Wegmans in Downingtown and the Giant in Exton.  If I don't find it there I wonder if Hills Seafood on 100 would have it.

If this doesn't get out of hand.....I'd be happy to mail Zatarains to who ever might be interested in purchasing.  Zatarains down here is a product in every store here in the New Orleans area.  Let me know if you might be interested, if so - I'll get some prices.

They have it in NJ too, I don't know why it is so hard to find, unless they have it in a different aisle than the regular spices which is very possible. Wegman's should definitely have it.

It is so hard to find because I have never looked for it   It may be on every store here as well.  Next time I find myself in a store I'll cruise the spice aisle.

Croppers is a small grocery store near where Busdriver and I live.....they don't have much but it is the closest grocery store.

Ohhhhhhh, if thats the case, than yes try the spice aisle and a bigger chain. Like I said Wegmans should definitely have it, they always have everything I'm NOT looking for.

Got the potatoes, already had Old Bay Seasoning; check on the sausage, check on the shrimp. Just need the corn and we're all set for dinner tomorrow.

I was so excited about the Tuesday shrimp find -- jumbo white shrimp in the shell (heads off) for $5.99/lb. Went back to buy more since we ate the first batch, and found the price had gone up to $7.99/lb. It was still a great deal with 21-25 per pound size.

I found myself in my small local grocery store this morning on my way to work (needed a donut).  I cruised up the spice aisle and found the Old Bay seasoning, but no Crab Boil or Zatarans.  I'll check my other stores next time I am in there.  Funny, usually I am in a grocery store 3 times a week but I haven't been to one in over a week.

The Old Bay is fine!  You don't have to have Zatarains or a liquid crab boil
