We are back at Spring Gulch for our Halloween Rally.  We have the whole 500 and 600 section with options to grow as needed.
I've worked out a very cheap group rate of $30 for this camping resort.  Reservations need to be made by August 01 to get the discounted rate.

This campground has most everything, heated pool, jacuzzi, spa, great activities for the kids and more.  It is also rated one of the highest in the country by Trailer Life and Woodalls.

Yep, same campground and same campsite area.  The only thing different for this year is someone from CanvasCampers is going to win FIRST place in the site decorating contest!!! :knuppel2:

Oh...[glow=red,2,300]I am taking that first prize this year[/glow].  Last year we just threw some stuff up.  Now that I know the lay of the land, I have a plan in mind...

I have updated the beginning of the rally thread, we can use two rally coordinators to help update the thread and answer questions. Send me a message if you can help?

Everyone talked last year about splitting a site and having one large group halloween display.  I can move over one site to 516 and we can also use it for our gathering site?  My existing site, 515 would work great for the halloween display.  Let me know your thoughts?

I'm all for making a "haunted tent" and doing a group display.  I have a 10X20 tent I could bring and put a smoke machine in and have a theme for it.

CanvasCampers Coffin Company?????  It wouldn't be difficult or expensive to build a few coffins.  Many people have other good decorations that could be incorporated into it already.  The tent has strong ridge poles so we could hang stuff from them (this isn't an EZ up).  Put a graveyard outside and dress up as coffin makers or gravediggers.

It's very easy to hang heavy sheets of black plastic to form a pathway/maze/corridors through the canopies. Stick 3 or 4 together and you can make a long and winding trail that can have static displays going through it.

Do they have a group rally coordinator at Spring Gulch?  This gal I got on phone this am was clueless, I called the 1-866 #.  And didn't indicate that anyone else had ressies in her computer system.

Becky,
I'm currently the rally coordinator, until I can help some additional help here.  I have a contract with the campground for this weekend, let me call them this morning.  If you know who you spoke to, can you PM me their name so we are all on the same page?

I spoke to the campground and it will be easiest to call the campground directly at (717) 354-3100, they have our block of sites and contract.  The $30 rate is only good until May so don't wait long to make your reservation.

You can book sites outside of our block if there is a different site you want.

I just called the campground direct and spoke with Lisa.  $30 per night.  I'll be in site 605.

BrownsCamper.....This is an awesome trip and well worth the advance booking.  Last year was our first Halloween Rally and it was a blast.  The campsites decorate and there is trick-or-treating.  We had a 4 ring campfire last year.....I don't know whose idea that was

Vik-King....Glad you and the kids will be there.  If there is any trip out there that the kids will have a blast, THIS is it.
