I'm going to start gathering my stuff and I'll post pictures of what I have.  Then we can figure out how to put it together in the group site.  I will have some white picket fence and my tombstones from last year.  I need to work on my smoke machine.  Hopefully the fencing will keep the smoke contained.  I hope to build a coffin or two.

Matt, if you want to keep "smoke/fog" low on the ground, you need to blow the fog over ice. That is the only difference between a normal fog machines and ground fog machines are the ground fog machines have a holder to put ice in to cool down the fog as it goes out the nozzle.

If you guys have never done a Haunted house with canopies, put a bunch of them together, get a box of contractor grade (very heavy mil thickedness) garbage bags. Open the bags up and hang them from the inside of the canopies as walls and have those wall form the path/maze that guides the people they way you want (you can do lots of 90 degree turns if you have 6 10x10 strung together). Now add you decorations as you lead them through.

Since "heavy metal" is the theme. I wonder if Mrs. Mdbaird76 will make her award winning chili?

I just put "kick stands" on my fencing.  This is 14 feet long and 4 feet deep.  I have more fencing but I don't think the cemetery needs to be bigger.  The fence is 4 feet high.  I think I am going to cut it shorter so it doesn't block the view as much.  but you still get the effect of creepy fencing and hold the smoke in.

Phil, I was thinking of the dry ice to keep it on the ground.  I need to look for dry ice in my area.  I want the fencing to try to contain it as well since we are using it outside.

Matt, the Ice Butler in Frazer, (maybe Malin Rd?), right behind the shopping center. We've bought it from them many times for our long tenting trips, as well as power failures.

I know it's early to start talking food but wanted to put an idea in everyone's head about the potluck.  It was discussed at the last group rally.

This potluck is going to be 'the heavy metal' potluck.  Everything from either a dutch oven, crock pot, metal pot, or similar.

We're going to miss you all! 🙁  But we'll be seeing you at Thanksgiving.  Remember, we took #2 last year, I expect you all to beat out the "perms" at that camp ground and take the #1 spot this year!!  Happy Hallowe'en!

Elmira and I are chatting about some different activities for the kiddos.  Can we get an accurate kid count and their ages please.

I've got a youngin' so I'll be bringing some paint markers for him to paint his pumpkin.  I think I have a bunch of tea light's somewhere.  If I find them I'll bring them to light up the Jack-o-lanterns.  Last year that was somethign we forgot
