The Sportsman Guide has me on their email list and they recently sent this ~

I don't know the first thing about it except it looks like the same technology as the MrBuddy heater - only it can put out more BTU's. Maybe it wouldn't even be capatable with an RV, but then maybe there could be another interest as well.

I have a similar one in my basement. It has the same BTU output.
It consumes a lot of propane and gets upwards of 500 degrees.
Oxygen depletion would be a big concern in a pop up.

The website also points out that it requires at least a hundred pound tank. Don't know about you, but I can barely fit the two 20 lb'rs I have now  😉

Must be because of the amount of fuel it sucks up ...?(LOL)

I have bigger one  in my house that's used for emergency or whenever the woodstove goes out.
We only blow through 110 gallons a season (Late Oct-Late April).
Wood on the other hand 4 to 5 cords 😀

Like I posted, don't know the first thing about this brand of heater - do have a MrBuddy heater that I've used for years and believe both opperate on the same principle. Now, having said that, I really got to wondering why they would specify a hundred pound tank. Tank pressure would be the same in either the twenty, thirty or hundred pound tank ... it is, afterall, the regulator that's the key factor in the fuel supply.  Maybe they are saying a hundred pound tank to make sure it's OUTSIDE.
