Our favorite is Lake Kissimmee State Park. They have lots of trails, lake to go fishing, bike trails, lots of wildlife. Our boys love Highlands Hammock. They look forward to the playground, riding their bikes, meeting other kids to play with, and especially the tram ride to see the wildlife in the park. Oh, and we like to ride our bikes and do the trails also.

Lake Carmi in Franklin VT. We have been camping for many years and we have yet to find another campground in VT to rival it. Small lake, canoe, kayak, wildlife, programs for the kids, awesome staff, big sites....highly recommend it :guitar:

We generally stay in the MA state parks, D.A.R. State Forest & Pittsfield State Forest are our 2 choices and there both local.

Promised Land State Park, Delaware State Forest, Pike County PA. You can spend weekends out on the canoe/kayak, hiking, hunting, geocache, honor the CCC, go fishing, and just relax. Tons of bear, rattle snakes, and whitetail. Close to Lake Wallenpaupak, and other Pocono tourist traps.

We are always on the search for a new favorite, but right now, it is FDR in Pine Mountain Ga. It is the largest State park in Ga. Nice clean facilities, really big campsites, and near several fun attractions.
