Three yrs in a row we camped over 60 nights each year, then it dropped down and is going back up we hope. DGD played soccer the year we dropped so much and didn't want us to miss any of her games. We truely love our camping but love watching her more. She is usually with us over 50% of the time when we camp. Would love to get in 60 + again this season but with this weather we are already getting a late start. We try to do as many 3 day weekends as we can.
Just spent 10 days @ Roaring Run Resort. I still had to commute to work during the week, but it was so nice knowing that when the work day ended, I'd be pool-side with a cold beer waiting for the coals to be hot enough for the dutch oven. I also used a deep fryer ( fish sandwiches), microwave (instant oatmeal), electric skillet (pancakes), and a wok (General Tso's). I've been home for 12 hours and wish I could pull out and pop-up tomorrow. Pie irons are awaiting.
