The weather plays a huge part in our camping.... what do you suggest or do to keep your bedding from feeling damp at night when the humidity is so high???

I agree with the A/C.

We just put one one this spring and this past weekend it rained (poured, a couple of inches) all night the 2nd night and a couple hours the 3rd. With our new to us a/c we stayed sticky free.

So far it is the best gift we have received.  A friend dismantled an old 5th wheel and he gave me the a/c for helping.  It's 12 years old but works great.

this might sound kooky but alot of people put rice in the salt shaker to absorb moisture.....maybe you could set out some little glasses filled with rice around the bed to absorb some of the moisture......obviously you wouldn't want to spread it on the bed  😉 but surely there is something like that which would help.....I only sleep with a sheet when it is that hot personally.....I assume you have some sort of a fan blowing on you as well.....

We roll up our bedding with pillows inside and cover with something waterproof.

Even with the A/C there was still a damp feel on our pillows, but with this past trip, we had an oscillating tower fan on one of the counters and the dampness went away. I think with the air circulating, it helped.

Best Regards,
Norm
