Does anyone cover their camper (popup or hybrid) between trips?  Is a tarp a bad thing and I'd need something breathable?

I use a breathable cover. I also store mine at a place that sales campers and they don't let you use tarps because they can come undone and flap against the camper parked next to it.

Another one with the breathable cover. We park ours in a driveway that is in a service alley behind my house. The cover is needed with all the trees overheard to not make it a "purple" mess.

Used Adco breathable covers on my previous pup throught 2 winters and love it.

If your going to cover it, then make sure you get something that is breathable it is not required however ..  our pup sits in its storage site year round with no cover...  I try to wash the pup at least 2-3 times a season just to keep the tree crud and general dirt from damaging things..

Can anyone recommend a quality cover that will last a long time? Do I need to mention I have a Carrier AC on the roof?

I have a 2009 Rockwood Freedom 1910.

Thank you.

Adco covers but I was thinking of parking the Pup next to the carport and Put a lean to like tarp coming off the roof out over the Pup far enough to shield the tires from the sun, I would have a lower end for rain run off. 8)

I'm thinking of building some sort of short carport over mine for the winter.  My roof is relatively fixed, but I don't like the idea of 18" of snow sitting on it, and I don't want my dad having to go out and constantly brush it off.  But we'll see if it actually happens.

I've heard you can use pool noodles under a tarp to avoid mold/mildew issues.  Thoughts?

This is the one I have, and it still looks good after 1 year. I do cover mine in between trips because I park it under a tree that some birds like to sit in, and I got tired of washing it all the time. The cover actually helped with a mouse too. There was a mouse that decided to climb up and make a home on the roof instead of looking for a way in, but it decided to climb down one day and the local cat got it and left it for me on my garage step. Good kitty!
It does run big, but the tie downs kept it on in windy conditions.

Not between trips, but for longer storage times I made a frame for a tarp. The ends are open to allow air to circulate. I do the same with my boats and never have a problem.
