Here we were being ripped off before all the latest crap began in Egypt ... now ...  well were close to $4.60 per US Gal.

But hey our $$$$$ is above par and is looking like it may go even higher....  can't wait until it hits $1.50 ( that's $1.00 USD = $1.50 CDN) or even better.. 🙂

Just came back from Kroger. I filled up the Hybrid (Honda CR-Z) $20.00. I paid $3.25 per gallon with the 10 cent off per gallon points card. Car said I have 400 mile range. Heading down to FL. When I get on the highway the mileage will go up. :tease:

In 1976 I was paying about the equivilant of $4.00 p/gallon in the UK.  The price was actually $5.00 p/gal, but an Imperial gallon was 1 qt larger than a US gallon.  It didn't stop me then and it won't stop me now.

Just returned from FL (1 a.m.). Hwy miles on the full tank of gas was 575. I spent about $75 in gas total round trip. In my truck same trip (when gas was $2.50 per gallon) I spent about $160 (no tow). The highest price in South Florida we saw was $3.65 per gallon for 87 octane. Passing the FL-GA state line the price dropped to $3.39.

We do fear the  same trip towing the PUP, then would be looking at about $250+.

It's interesting to me on how fast the prices can change. I pass 2 stations on the way to and from work just the other night when I came home at 7p the price was 3.45 and when I went past the next morning on my way to work at 6a the price was 3.49, but it never seems to drop that fast.

There's no money in a price drop.
