We are a planning a 10 day trip through New England for next summer.  I was looking for ideas of where to camp.  We are planning on going to Acadia NP for a couple of those days.  Thanks

There are fantastic sites throughout New England. Here are some of our favorites:

Tolland State Forest (western MA)
Mohawk Trail State Forest (western MA)
Quechee State Park (southern VT)
White Lake State Park (central NH)
Chocorua KOA (central NH)
Harold Parker State Forest (eastern MA)

Each is a great location with natural beauty.

Happy trails!

I will be looking for your pics from the trip.  I'd love to camp for 10 days up there.

Wawaloam campground in Kingstown RI if you have a family.  Fisherman's State park is good too. I'm from RI these are favorites if mine.

We have tent camped at Bar Harbor campground for 1 week stays twice.  Strange that they do not take reservations but they say it is never a problem.  Planned on taking camper this past year but truck issues the week before made us scramble to find a place to stay.  Closest to Bar Harbor even though Blackwoods Campground is in Acadia NP.  We plan on staying at Bar Harbor Campground again next year.  Nice people and clean place to stay.
