We are looking at a new hybrid and would like to buy one that fits a sleep number mattress.  Is that even an option or are the beds odd sizes?  Is there something similar we could use?

most are a hair smaller than a standard mattress... best bet is to look at the dimensions listed for that model's floor plan, then subtract and inch or two for canvas and hardware...

Coachman has a hybrid, I think they came out last year, where the back bunk is as tall as the unit, creating a queen suite where you can walk in.

Do you have a sleep number bed at home?  I have an older one and depending on the weather I have to change the setting as the hot air expands since I don't have central air keeping my home at a consistent temperature.  So in the winter I'm a 50, in the summer a 35.  It's pretty annoying, and leads to some sleepless nights before I remember it's time to change the setting.  I think in the winter the bed feels a bit colder since it's an air chamber underneath instead of a thick mattress.

That's something to keep in mind!

We have a select comfort bed at home. Same company as sleep number but our controls have no display. I have an "Expanded Queen" also known as an Olympic Queen. It is 6" wider than a standard Queen. It's 66" wide.

They sold us on the extra room and how it fits on a standard Queen frame which it does. They also said a standard King sheet will fit if you got deep pillow top sheets. NO SUCH LUCK!!!

For years we had short sheets on the bed that kept popping off. We could not find sheets that would fit.

Finally my dear sweet in laws for our 2 year annavirsary gifted us 2 sheet sets from Select Comfort meant to fit this size mattress. They spent $600. Each set was $300. Then the pillow cases didn't fit our  queen pillows and we had to buy the correct pillows to fit the cases.

BECAREFUL WHAT YOU BUY FROM THEM!

Measure, measure, measure.

PS. The bed is very comfortable because each side is adjustable.

What would you do with the matress for pack up?  Most HTT beds are thin and fold in half for travel.
