There are always times that things happen around you that just [glow=red,2,300]drive you crazy[/glow].  Here are a few of my... what about you?

Igloo cooler hinges! Coolers are their speciality and they can't design their hinges so it doesn't screech (like fingernails on a chalkboard).  Have they ever used them in a campground at 9pm?

Car alarms,  there's always someone who doesn't know what they are doing or can't find their keys.  Our kids are older but I feel bad for those with kids sleeping.

I like to look at things positively.

Just like what Zuzu said in It's a Wonderful life..."Every time a bell rings, an Angel gets his wings"...Every time a cooler hinge squeaks someone is enjoying a beer

I do find car alarms and the chirping when someone locks and unlocks a car door to not be the ideal camping sounds.

I always put my truck's lock confirmation into stealth mode when we're camping - no lights, no chirp.  Once, I somehow triggered the alarm at 10pm while lying down to read a little before bed.  I guess the panic button must have gotten pressed by the other keys while it was in my pocket.  Fortunately, it wasn't super late, and I managed to get it off within about three seconds.  Oops..

A little silicon spray would likely fix the hinges without causing problems with the plastic.

My pet peeves:

This one actually involves pets -- people who let their dogs just bark/yap/howl constantly for no apparent reason.  While I have two dogs, I make a pointed effort to make sure they're as quiet as can be.  They are still dogs after all, and will occasionally bark at passers-by with dogs, which I accept.  I wish everyone would do the same.

When people arrive late and they leave their headlights shining into your campsite.  Also, noise carries farther than you think, so try to be as quiet as you can.  There are some that seem to get how to set up when it's late, others, not so much.

I think that we as pretty laid back people but I hate when others walk through our site as a short cut to the bathroom or for water.  I consider the campsite our living room for the weekend and wonder if they would like it if I wandered through their living room at home?

We had people walk through our site at least four times each day/night on one trip and it got to be a little much.  Nothing like be woken at 3am to flip flops and breaking branches as someone is going to the bathroom.  I didn't want a confrontation sooooo, I waited to be woken at the 3am stroll and right then they were next to the bunk end I told my wife that I heard an animal outside and I was getting the handgun.  I would shot now and work it out at day light.  :lmao:  They never walked through our site again, I didn't have a handgun but did laugh a little before going back to sleep.  ;D
