My walmart special grill that cost me only $35 bucks has seen better days. It did serve me well for 8 years so I got money out of it and then some. I am currently looking for a new grill for this summer. Right now the Coleman Road Trip LXE Grill is my front runner. Does anyone have this and what do you think of it? Any other suggestions for under $200.
I have the Weber 200. It's 4 years old and looks like new. Runs with 1lb or 20lb propane bottles. They make a 100, 200 and 300 model depending on the size of your family and cooking surface needed.

I know some other members have opinions of their grills from conversations while camping together.
I agree with Storm Trooper, but I only have the smaller Weber Q120 I think and a Smoky Joe. At home it's mostly a Weber full sized Kettle. A true North Carolina friend turned me onto his "yardbird" one hour chicken a few years back and now it's real hard to make it through the winter here in NY without a good charcoal grilled chicken.
My current grill is the same as Steve A. I did experiment with a 5$ one from Dollar General. It found the dumpster after 2 trips. I don't know if I will ever replace it. My 12 yo son is learning to cook over a campfire so it works out well. He loves to show off his new found skills and He's closer to the ground.
We use a Cadac Safari Grill which we purchased 3 years ago. It is great for two people, and best of all packs up into a small case roughly the size of a bowling ball case. As with the Weber gas grills, you can use the small 1 lb bottle or the larger 20 lb bottle of propane.
I found a great deal on a Thermos at a garage sale for $40.00 but it only made two trips before I put it on the auction block and sold it. It was just too bulky for the two of us and I didn't like messing with the small bottles. I also wasn't intersted in spending a small fortune for the fittings and hosing to hook up to my main tanks. I went back to a small grill that was propane until the burner died and my son was going to throw it out. I took out the burner and added grating in the bottom to use charcoal and I've been using it for about two years now. I also used the small cheap charcoal grills before the Thermos.

At home I grill with a nice Weber Stainless Steel propane grill. Picked it up off the curb, new burners and tighten a few nuts and bolts and I have had it for 3 years now. I think it is a $500 grill that I spent $75 in parts to refurbish.
While camping I grill over a $15 Walmart charcoal special.
I feel that at home I just want to light the grill and put the meat on in 5 minutes. While camping I have more time so I use charcoal.

GB, when I lived in Ontario I'd always throw at least one "July at Christmas" party. I'd shovel a path to the grill, t-shirts, flipflops and shorts were the uniform of the day. Beach Boys, Jan & Dean and the like blasted from the stereo. Usually we'd do burgers, steaks or beercan chicken. It helped to get through the endless winter.

I do this on a regular basis through the winter ... One year at Christmas I was bbq'ing the turkey in a blizzard ... outside in shorts, tee shirt, Santa hat and winter boots ....
I have something like this one ... I connect it to an extra 20 lb tank I carry ...

I also had the red Thermos Grill for a time. We stopped using it as the flame is so low that keeping it going in any type of wind was next to impossible. We loved the portability of it with the case and wheels, but in the end it didin't work to our needs.
