Joe and I are off to Seven Points Campground at Raystown Lake (PA) this Friday for the long weekend. This is our first trip out since our long trip out to Wyoming/Colorado/S.Dakota. We usually don't do holiday weekends, but decided at the last minute to try and get a campsite, and were successful ;D...We're really looking forward to riding the awesome trails at this place and enjoying the campfire.
Anyone else heading out this weekend?

Congrats to Pete on the new job ;D
Thanks, its been over 9 months, so lets say that things have been very very very very very tight. If it wasn't for the fact that we saw this coming and had the forethought to prepay for out camping over the winter, we would have never been able to get out this year.

Francis Slocum was a very nice park. We didn't get to explore the park as much as we would have liked as it was a busy weekend. There are lots of trails. I kind of like the fact that the campground is set a good distance from the day use areas but because of the shape of the lake, it is "U" shaped, you are still right near the water. I am pretty sure we will be back.
