This is the information given by the campground for the best access.

Directions:
Route 80 to exit #232, Buckhorn. Route 42 South thru Catawissa, then 487 South. About 3 miles make a left onto Ashton Hollow Road. Follow signs to Lake Glory.

Route 81, exit # 116, Minersville. Route 901 West to 54 West into Elysburg. Turn right onto 487 North. About 6 miles, make a right onto Ashton Hollow Road. Follow signs to Lake Glory.

The way they suggest, there is a hill you have to go up on 487 after you go through Catawissa. We have done it in our van each time we go, and it gets up it. I throw it in 2nd and climb. Don't know where you live, but if you come in through Danville and follow 54 to 487 it is an easier drive. A couple hills that way too, but to me not as bad.

Best Regards,
Norm

Agreed 487 from the Catawissa side is quite steep, plus that puts you that much closer to Fair and College traffic while towing (and since I went to collge in Bloomsburg I can say this, most College kids don't care who has to wait or how long while they cross the street).  I'd come in from Danville side.

FYI - I've gotten the dreaded email from the campground saying that they are going to release the remaining sites that are not booked.  The same email as last year.  :-  Booking will be on a first come/first serve basis from now until the trip.

I think we have everyone updated for this rally.  Those members who live in driving distance, stop by for the Saturday potluck breakfast or bring a chair for the campfire in the evening.  All Are Welcome!

I finally think I have a hang on potluck for dinner and now you switch it to breakfast?  You folks sure know how to keep me on my toes!

I think we'll probably be bringing one of Guitarman's favorites breakfast foods  😉

It's a surprise, but the kids should like it...

Chef Pete and Phil with be doing his famous SOS (Creamed Chipped Beef) on biscuits for breakfast.  We figured it was popular last year as we didn't get any, it  was all gone when we finally got time to sit down and eat.
