My wife will be staying home to do the taxes instead of camping.  Her choice.  She said it will be easier for her to work with me, my son, and dog out of the house.  I will be taking my 3yo son Nathan, Dog Basil, 10yo niece Sabrina, and 8yo nephew Evan.

Hmmmmm I am thinking I may leave my dog at home and use the leash on the kids. :tease:

As much as Peter and I love cooking for y'all, we aren't making Corned Beef and cabbage for 70 people... Lets start getting this potluck menu in shape. (or there is going to be a lot of "looped" members when they have nothing to soak up all the alcohol).

Oh that's right, I've got a trailer to get ready too, don't I.  The engine's back in the car, but it's not bolted down, and I still have to put everything back on it and hope it runs by Sunday evening or I'm going to have to start taking time off work.  Amid all the chaos, I have no idea what we're bringing to the potluck.  Probably soup - good for a chilly evening.

I've gotta get propane tanks filled, unwinterize, & figure out what to bring to potluck. Thinking beef stew in crock pot or jambalaya in dutch oven. Maybe some corn bread to go w/ all that chili.

Also, my attendance is now 2 adults. Kids will be w/ their dad next weekend.

Some guys will do anything to get to the spring opener. I just shoveled a 400 foot path the width of my TV and pup  from the side yard to the front yard so i can drag it around to my driveway tommorrow morning . need to pop it up and stock it up for next week. my neighbors are like why is that guy shoveling his front lawn and grass. they think i lost my mind. 😀

I've been thinking about my pot luck dish since this morning.  I'm leaning towards mac and cheese, but hoping to find something a little healthier to make. I'll probably do the mac and cheese though, I've got a lot to do and less and less time to do it!

Pete/Phil: make enough for 6. Everyone takes just a little.

I am going to wait until Thursday to commit. Not sure if we will be able to attend. My FIL is in the hospital. Intubated. Diagnosis is CHF and Kidney failure. All of it started last week with walking Pneumonia.

Unfortunately we are going to have to miss the fun and festivities of the spring opener.  Kate's grandfather passed away and we will be headed to RI for the weekend.  Throw an extra log on for us and we'll catch up with everyone going to Promised Land in April.

Thanks everyone. He was extubated this morning. He is awake and talking. Was moved from ICU Coronary Unit to a regular medical floor. Private room. Disconnected from everything except a halter monitor for his heart.

Mark: sorry to hear about your loss. Thinking about you. Safe travels.

I fixed the potty in my RV this weekend.  It took much longer to get done than I anticipated.  I wanted to clean and organize more of the RV....guess I'll be doing it during the week.

Also we are in need of a few tables.  If anyone is in the Downingtown area and can transport them I have two (maybe three) 8 foot tables.  I can't get them 10 1/2 feet up on top of my RV so I can't transport them.
