Sunday morning a few of us were chatting.  How about next year we combine our fog machines and decorations and make a Halloween Haunted House?  Set up a few EZ ups with sides and they can walk through it and point all the smoke machines into it.

Good idea or Bad idea?

Also think it would work this way we all can bring pieces instead of carrying alot of things. We will just need a theme.

Well since there are already a couple of skeletons and coffins I'd say we make a morgue.  But I would have to defer to our in group winners and campground second place winners Phil and Pete.  They know what people have brought and how it could be staged.

I know I have an EZ up with 4 sides so we could put 2 together and fill a 10x20 space with stuff.

Thanks everyone for a great rally.  It was in the 80s and I was swimming in the pool... IN OCTOBER.

Thanks Phil and Pete for the circus tent, coffee, adult beverages and more.
Thanks both LoneLock and mdbaird76 for running this rally.
Thanks Mike for the pumpkins, huge success and having the campfire at your site.
Thanks for the tables, half-n-half, carving tools, decorations, ALL the firewood and everything else.  I didn't expect so many decorations, it was awesome to see.  Many people came by and commented that we definitely knew what we were going.

Thank you everyone for your help.  When I got back from the store just prior to the potluck, the tables were set up, extension cords and power strips ready, coffee pot prepped and campfire going.  Someone came up to me and said that "I've taught them well."  😉  Thanks for so much for helping with setting up, breaking down, great food, friendships, conversations, and memories.  Some things we will be laughing about and telling stories at later rallies.

Thanks for welcome my girl to the group, she had a great time.

These group rallies keep getting better because of the people involved.  Because for the effort everyone makes for a better group experience.  Just when I think we can't top it... I go to another rally.  🙂

Here is a photo of the 4 firering campfire that someone thought was to large and called security on us.

I agree one of the reasons i feel that the group rally's are such a hit is that all you have to do is show up. Helping set up and take down is not required we do it because we want to. And to the mayor thank you.

We had a great time at camp over the weekend. We appreciate Mike's help with the tail light of our pop up. It was a fun rally in the middle of Amish country.

We had a great time and it was a lot of fun to have everyone at the fire just telling stories and laughing (even if we were up past 3). The kids had a blast and have been talking about the trip all day yesterday and today. Cant wait till the next one.

Thanks for choosing us as the contest winners. I'm stunned that we took 2nd place in the camp-wide contest considering we just threw it all together.  I love the idea of doing a haunted house for the kids next year!  So many possibilities...

I had a wonderful time. So great to spend time with everyone.  I loved the halloween parade of children.  So great to share halloween with children again.  The Pot Luck was delicious and very creative.  Thanks to all who helped to put this wonderful event together.

The campground just sent us a card with a coupon for a free night of camping for winning 2nd place in the camp-wide decorating contest.
