Please tell me the weather channel is wrong about the rain chances on Thursday. 90% chance, really!

Noticed that too.
It was looking to be perfect up until today's forecast.

It's also going to be nice and cold Thursday and Friday nights.  Especially for us Floridians. Lol
Went to use the furnace for the first time last week (to test it) and it wouldn't fire up.
Eventually found out the thermostat was bad so it forced me to do the digital t-stat mod I have been meaning to do.

Took all of 5 minutes to do and a good 3 of those were debating on which wire to put where.  There's only 2 wires and a couple screws to change it out.
Furnace kicked on and is working perfect.

Warm days (for Georgians!) and cool nights for campfires! I hoped it might be a bit warmer, too, :- but we'll go with the flow!

(I'm keeping a weather eye open for a back-to-back trip to London and hoping their winter weather goes away! Hard to pack that way.)

I love the cold. Hoping we don't have to turn on the AC. But the rain.....that depresses me. And setting up and breaking down in the rain is just the worst. But as long as it's dry for our breakfast and our potluck, (like last Fall) it will be great.

My Weather Bug is saying there is a 90% chance of rain on Thursday, 40% on Friday.  🙁 But it should be pretty and slowly warming up to the 70's by Sunday afternoon!  🙂
Time to get busy washing , packing, getting ready for a weekend of great family fun! So hang in there, it might be a little bumpy at the beginning but at least it's not snowing!

Why must you guys worry so much about the weather? It's camping. As long as I didn't have to be stuck at the house I wouldn't care if if it was rain or shine. O0  no matter what, it will be a good weekend for you guys

We have 3 daughters (13, 6, and 2) and if it is raining all day, there is a good chance I am also going to be stuck listening to them bicker at some point.
Luckily we have a dvd player and games to play.

We wouldn't mind at all! Send them on over. I am sure there will be bickering and fussing coming from our site/camper, rain or shine.  ;D

Looks like this Thursday for the Rally Early Birds it will be a contest of how long can you tread water vs. setting up RALLY CENTRAL for the welcome table, tee-shirt and info distribution. If there is no break in the rain and you can swim, come on over to site #124 - GA Judy (Judy & Al) - to say, Hello I'm Here!, pick up your tee-shirts that you ordered, and get your info handout and door prize ticket. We're at the end of the loop (where you drive around the big oak tree) unless it stops raining! :dunno:

I will be setting up on site 121 rain or shine. Probably soaking wet before being all done! So, come on over and say hello as well! I will be across from the welcome area! Matt, My grand daughter-(10) and grandson (9) will be with us as well! We are going to bring TV and satellite dish so some kids shows will be on! And we have some DVD's as well to watch! I have to separate the kids about every few hours to keep peace. But we could send them all over to Miles- aka Camp Dad in the big new to them travel trailer for our peace! 😮
It's going to be a great weekend rain or shine with 100% chance of fun, memories, and friendships to be made!
Bring those cameras!

Not that I don't want to send the kids away at times, but we have enough room to not be on top of each other too.
Oldest can stay in her bunk playing in her iPad or her phone. Lol
The 6 and 2 year olds will play for a while.

We aren't worried about the weather, just keeping an eye on it.

Well, we have a problem. Looking for some input. We hooked the PUP to the tow vehicle and the PUP running lights (brake lights, flashers, signals) don't work. We checked all the basics like fuses, wiring, etc. Any suggestions?

Surgi would it be safe to assume you have all the functions at the connector on the TV?

Okay Folks! We are down to the last say or two to pack up and travel for a weekend of fun!  :dans2:
I have been working on a new mod on my camper that will really light things up! When you see them on, You will know who's camper it is! Fire Captain Jim is going to light up more than expectations! Yes, RV Nite Lites will be on as well! I will only charge $5.00 for copying my most recent mod!  :blink1:
If anybody needs any help on backing in or setting up or any other problems, Holler real loud at me!  :baseballhat:

Surgipat- I bet you have a ground wire problem as well. It will be a white wire that should be attached to the frame somewhere on front of the camper. Good Luck!
