I haven't even thought of this trip yet.  I'm replacing the floor in my camper in a section so it is torn apart.  However....that isn't my priority.  It is PINEWOOD DERBY time.  Nathan and I are in the final stages of building our car.  :baseballhat:

We were at JoeCampers house the other day weighing our car and Joe knocked it off the scale .....  competition is brutal :knuppel2:

Since it is a much smaller group than in years past, this is the perfect opportunity to amp up the food since we don't have to make as much. ChefPete and I will provide the main protein for Saturday Night dinner? Any suggestions before I turn him loose in the creative kitchen (and in a new trailer to boot).

Since the Mayor's family has obligations and won't be camping at this rally, Peter and I will take care of organizing this event. we are both off on Friday so we can get there pretty early as needed.

The top thread has been updated. As usual, we will need a few tables, a canopy(s) - just in case. Since we don't have a dedicated site, we can use our site or another volunteer.

Per previous note, since this is much smaller group, this is the perfect opportunity to amp up the food a bit since we all don't have to make large quantities. Peter and I will take care of the main protein for dinner on Saturday. Reply if you have some thoughts/preferences/major dislikes/likes, etc before he turns loose in our new kitchen in our new trailer.

Only other thing I can think of is getting firewood to keep us warm.

Phil, Pete,  When you say amp up the food, what do you mean?

-Formal dinner in the woods with table clothes and candles?  Jackets, ties, and dresses optional?
-Steak's for dinner

Any and all..... Just trying to not get into the "generic camping food" trap (burgers, dogs, etc).

Steaks work for my, but my wallet can't afford 'yall.

We could go with "Grandma's secret recipe" or "Ethnic foods"

Phil and Peter, If Jonathan is Bringing some kind of fried rice, how about a chicken/pork or such for it to accompany?  We will have birthday cake to share!  And a fruit type dish too!

We will have a table.  With the wind we have had of late, we will have to use caution with an ez up or even our awnings.
