We will bring baked beans, rolls, and buns. We will have to think about the purple effect. We will also bring index cards for the food to be labeled they will be Purple.

Purple caramel sauce for the bread pudding just seems so wrong, which is why I'm thinking about it.

Bread pudding, well executed, is one my all time favorites. I have been known to rate restaurants just based on the bread pudding and rum sauce.

Put us down for a dessert of some type as well as a main dish TBD. Maybe curry chicken, maybe something else - I have to check my cookbooks to see what looks good.

Hopefully, we'll live up to your high standards.  I know the first attempt back at French Creek was so-so, but the last couple of batches have improved significantly.  I had more than a couple of people threaten my life (jokingly ... I think) when we didn't bring it to a trip over Memorial Day.

@mtn_bikers:  Mmm...  Purple curry chicken.  What are you making for everyone else?  ;D

I made Coq au Vin last time, so I guess I can't repeat that.  Maybe a purple potato salad, or a purple meatloaf.  (Or w/purple gravy at the very least!)  Time to pull out the cookbooks.

Would everyone please take a moment and check the first message in the topic to see if we have you listed correctly with what you are bringing to the popluck. We want to make sure we fill in the missing items.

I have 2ea 5gal drink jugs if you want me to bring them.  I also have a 6ft table if I can find room.  Let me know?

I will be bringing my deep fryer for fresh french fries, maybe purple ketchup  :-  I'd also like to make funnel cake if I can get my act together.

I'll throw a table in also, it seems to get used at every rally.

I know everyone has some, but we are going to need some extension cords and power strips for all the crock pots.

Joe, we are trying to perfect purple ketchup for the Meatloaf. Actually Heinz used to make an orange, green and purple ketchups.

We have a couple of water jugs, we will be providing purple lemonade and ice water.

Thanks BiXLL - the extra table might be needed.
