That is true, but Green Bay is by far the smallest market NFL team in the nation.
They would not exist if not for the revenue sharing system imposed by the NFL.
Green Bay has my upmost respect that they got this far.
The big market teams, Patriots included should always be near the top, by virtue of their resources.
So how is it, that the Steelers are underdogs by the experts?
To me, Green Bay is the underdog, the overachiever and deserves to have a great chance at winning.
Bill, the population of Green Bay is a little over 100,000 people and the team has 150,000 owners...
247,000 in Brown County
Pittsburg has a population of over 300,000, more than the entire county Green Bay is in.
Pittsburg's Allegheny County has over 1,200,000 people.
Pittsburg is not a small market by any means.
Go Green Bay!!
