So, previous owners told us that they never used the water (so i'm sure they never winterized), but drops have been noticed coming from the faucet. i'm sure not much water is in the tank at all, but it was recommended that we winterize with rv antifreeze. completely overwhelmed by this - we have no clue what to do. should we just take it to an rv dealership or something? we don't know anyone local who has a pup/lehigh-valley-rv-show who could help us with this. any advice?

Well basically winterizing is the same for every unit.
1--empty all holding tanks! Fresh water, black, gray, AND the water heater!!!
2--introduce RV antifreeze to the entire system and thru EVERY faucet and toilet (until the pink koolaid comes out free and pink)

If you have a water heater, then first turn valves to bypass water heater BEFORE running antifreeze.

So basically empty all your tanks as you would any other time (If you have a cassette toilet, make sure that fresh tank is empty too, even if you have to flush it till empty).

If you have a water heater, then (after the water inside cools), go outside, open the compartment, pull the pressure relief valve, then unscrew the drainplug all the way. Go back inside, open the access to the back of your water heater, then turn all those valves the opposite direction.

Now give it the pink stuff. Easiest way to do this is a hand pump. Put one end in the bottle of antifreeze, the other end screws in to the city water connection (water hose hookup). Now someone needs to pump the antifreeze in, while someone else opens/runs EVERY faucet, (one at a time) till true "PINK" is coming out (then close each faucet as pink comes thru)
If you have a cassette toilet, then run a small amount of pink in the toilet fresh tank and FLUSH till pink.

Now you are winterized.

Speaking of youtube video's  8)
Winterizing the RV

I may have an RV but the plumbing stuff is still the same.  It may just look a little different ie: I have a full shower, you may have an outdoor shower hose.  I have a big sink, yours will probably be smaller.
