Bummer MtnKube! 🙁
Okay folks, it's time to narrow down the Pot Luck Supper! Judy would like to print a list of who made what, so others can talk to some of you for the secrets in making those tasty meals! We still need someone to bring some Ice for the supper if you don't want to cook, this might be your life saver! For those interested in Dutch Oven Cooking, please get with me and Camp Dad- Miles. Who knows, maybe at the fall Rally we could have a D.O.G -Dutch Oven Gathering as well! We will be glad to share the intersting secrets!
Also, if anyone is intersted in heading up the Corn Hole Tournament, Please let me or Judy Know!
Just 2 more weeks and the fun begins! :jig:
:goodstuff: Hey Folks, I just learned from PapaChaz, for those who uses the exit on north side of Interstate 75 -Red Top Mtn., the bridge over the lake is scheduled to be closed March 30 through April 6! So everyone that is coming down Interstate 75 needs to use the Glade Road exit to get to the campground. Turn left on Glade Rd. head up north till you get to a 4 way stop intersection with Kings Camp Rd. and New Hope Church Rd. Turn Left onto Kings Camp Rd. Campground entrance will be on your left.
Jim,
Just pulled up MapQuest to check the directions from here and it looks like we are supposed to turn Right on Glade Rd not left? Please advise as I definitely don't want to be sight seeing in Acworth pulling my camper!!! Looks like I will be by myself so I want to be sure I know where I am going since I won't have a navigator with me.
Do you mean the folks coming North? Just want to be sure I don't get lost!!!
Thanks,
The Glade Road exit (#278) off I-75 southbound from Red Top Mountain is the correct exit. When you get off I-75 from the north, you will make a left turn and go back under I-75 and continue straight, following the regular directions Jimmy gave. It's a twisty road closer to the campground with a couple of slight hills, so be careful.

We only have two more weeks until our Saturday activities and evening Potluck. Since there are some religious and family holiday gatherings in between, it's time to finalize your potluck contribution and send it to me so I can post it on the front page. Looks like some really great dishes are again going to be taste temptingly delicious! Please let me hear from y'all soon if you haven't already sent in your potluck dish(es). Thanks! ;D
Okay Folks, it's less than 2 weeks away and the chatter on the rally has gone to almost to nothing!
Tell me of what the best part of the rally that you are anticipating! For me- I guess mine would be meeting new friends and seeing my former rally friends who loves to go camping! Great Food and Fellowship!
